We were approached by a local solar panel technician needing a precise-fit clip to secure cables neatly behind panel arrays. Off-the-shelf parts didn’t offer the exact dimensions or reliability required.
Working from accurate measurements, we modelled a custom clip in CAD and printed the prototypes using ABS, chosen for its strength, weather resistance, and durability in outdoor environments.
The result? A robust clip with a secure fit, tested on-site the same week and reordered for repeat use on future installs.
